FS X default aircrafts - realistic?

Featured Replies

How realistic do you think the flight models are for the default aircrafts in FS X?I'm asking this because I'm trying to compare the default planes and planes that were supposedly created for FS X.As an example, I have a 747 that I downloaded from my VA's website that is supposedly for FS X. When I taxi that plane, it has a very wide turning radius. In other words, if I want to turn, I have to turn the rudder way before the turn, otherwise I end up on the grass or crashing into buildings. This is even with going at less than 15 knotsIf I use the default 747, I can turn it just before I reach the turn.Thanks.

Guess you would have to get the input of a 747 pilot to know..The Baron is pretty close-could it be better-sure! I don't know anything closer..right now (hint hint).GeofaMy blog:http://geofageofa.spaces.live.com/

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

To me normal envelope flying is good enough though I won't complain if it is improved :-). I would like to see big improvements in stalls and spins though. I think the ground handling is rubbish though.Steven.
