Runway and Taxiway Textures

Featured Replies

My taxiway textures have changed.I have installed the free Orbx Tasmania scenery out of curiosity and Acceleration. Will either of these cause the texture changes? I tried the Tasmania scenery and found that my video card or it's driver could not handle it, so I turned it off. While the texture changes are not necessarily bad, I havn't been paying attention and don't know when they changed or what caused it. Most noticable is that asphalt no longer has joints in a square grid (a good thing).ArtBiostar TF560-A2+, Athlon 64X2-6000+, 4GB RAM, Geforce 8800GTS-320MB, 500W PSU, 250GB HD, FSX(SP1-SP2), Audigy SE sound, Vista Home Premium 32 bit, CH Yoke & Pedals, 22" WS LCD monitor

I have the opposite problem, my asphalt has square grids, if anybody knows how to change this I would like to know how.

If you have a few bucks, get X Graphics from HiFi (The Active Sky folks). Among the many options, you can change your runway/taxiway textures.XP Pro SP2-FSX SP2AMD FX60-8800GTS-2 Gigs RAMFEX-GEX-UTUSA-FSGenesis-and a bunch of other stuffComputer optimized by www.fs-gs.com

I already have FEX so $38 seems a bit much for runway/taxiway textures, but thanks for the advice. It looks like acceleration is what fixes the asphalt, and I know I can get it for a lot less than As graphics.
