So, Stumptown coffee here in PDX (excellent dark roasts)has come out with their Obama and McCain Roasts. I havn't looked, but it would be fun to have two repaints of the default 737-800 in Obama and McCain campaign paint jobs and see which one gets the most downloads. I'm no artist, so I can't put up the paints myself. But this could be kind of fun. Who knows, perhaps AVSIM could be the next Ohio - you can't win the White House without winning AVSIM!ColinPortland

Observations from Canadian stand-up comedians over the years...Every four years, for the Presidential race, Americans rally to celebrate their elections. It's time for elections! Yay! In Canada, when an election is called, we don't celebrate, we dread. It's more like, aw, crap, what the (expletive)? I went to a gift shop and they were selling tee-shirts. One short they were selling was baby-sized. It was a tee-shirt for a baby. On it was written: "Future President Of The United States". In Canada, you'd never see a tee-shirt on a baby that says "Future Prime Minister Of Canada". Why? We would expect our children to turn out better than that. Considering that Mr. Harper, Mr. Dion, Mr. Layton, and Ms. May are all vying for our attention in elections at the same time Mr. Obama and Mr. McCain are, I would respectfully submit that aircraft would be provided for the Conservative, Liberal, New Democrat, and Green parties respectively.Unless, of course, you want to join all of Canada in trying to ignore our upcoming election -- October 14th, you must vote, whether you care or not. Well, actually that's rather Un-Canadian. Let me put it this way: you probably should vote, whether you care or not, but it's up to you, eh?
