visibility layer flashes - old topic, I know...

...yet I can't seem to find a solution!Hello everybody,the visibility layer discussion has been going on a few months ago, when I thought someone had found the answer it turned out to solve a different problem. I can't find any other threads on the subject though, yet the problem seems to be widespread.Has there been a fix I've missed?The prob is, when diving into a visibility layer, auto-generated weather seems to be resetting every 8 secs, resulting in a short flash of the entire sky, revealing all clouds above the reduced visibility layer. Switching it to "static" solves the problem, yet that's very unsatisfying. Is there any way to enjoy the same conditions?I run an AMD PhenomX4 2.2GHz w/ ATI 4850. I'm installing SP1 as I write this but in other threads it showed that it wouldn't help.Thanks for any help or attempted help.Happy landings,CF
