2024 Stock AC not following Add -on AP flight patterns

Have LVR KFF installed and when starting sim with stock AI AC traffic "Online" they are initially landing across runways and into terrain far past the AP.  Is this normal with AI AC on an add-on AP like this?  Does it take while for the AI to adjust?
