Flew in many C123's in Vietnam with and without JATO's. Awesome!Milton

Trivia on the C-123 ... It's probably the only design that has been flown as:a glider (initial design)a piston engined planea jet engined plane (as prime mover, not "added pods")a turboprop..(Per: Squadron/Signal C-123 In Action)
