3rd Party A/C for Standard Version FS2002

Featured Replies

I see many real nice aircraft which I have tried to use but most seem to be made for the Pro Version as the panels have many gauges for the KingAir which are not available in the Standard Version. I am sorry, now, that I did not purchase the Pro version but short of that is there anything that can be done to accommodate these a/c to standard version. I have tried replacing some gauges with those available but I don't think that will really be within my limited powers. Thanks for any advice.

Other than replacing the gauges, there is not much else you can do. You could download replacement panels that have their owns versions of the gauges.

Ah Cliff... I'm not 100% sure of this one, but it's worth a go....I've read that you can go to the Microsoft site and download the patch for Fs2000 (YES! that's Fs2000!!)... Don't install it, but open it up and extract the gauges.... This should give you the missing PRO. gauges....check out this link.......http://flightsimvets.edirectamerica.com/tips_read.asp?id=370It might just solve your problem....//Tonni

Tonni, Thanks so much. It does work. The patch is an exe file. Used Winzip to open and put the KingAir and Mooney file into 2002gauges and it works. One thing that it does not do is give me KingAir sound but I will look around and see what I can come up with. This is certainly the fix for those of us without the Pro edition.
