May 11, 200224 yr At this point, I'm designing the panel for the Starship, ut I'd like to have an editor. Are there any freeware editors that work with FS2002? Thanks, Earlhttp://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...fcf793c799e.jpg
May 11, 200224 yr CfgEdit - www.cfgedit.com will work up to a point. It cannot view or open the XML gauges. They have a shareware program, see it at the site. Bill Sieffert
May 11, 200224 yr Thank you...Is there a freeware gauge creator? Thanks again. Earlhttp://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...fcf793c799e.jpg
May 12, 200224 yr Nope, the closest thing is good'ol Notepad for code, GIMP for graphics, and a shitload of coffee. The coffee still costs money though, but is the closest you'll get to freeware :)Manual coding is also the best way, as you get a pretty good insight and have a good way of improving the code at a later stage. The best way to go is to copy from an existing 747 or Baron gauge and change as needed.
