October 17, 2025Oct 17 From the beginning of the launch of mfs2020, there`s been terrible LOD issues with aircrafts. Flying in multiplayer is just annoying when you see aircrafts models change lod right in front of you, i been testing almost all default aircrafts and the maximum viewing distance is about 1km then they disapear. some aircrafts have maybe 1.5km and some others have less then 1km. Another issue is the gears on all aircrafts, Aircrafts are taxing around gearless at airports when flying on vatsim or using batc. This issue is even worse in VR due to the zoomed back camera. Cant believe its been 5 years and nothing have been done by the developers to fix it. (Not even in the new mfs2024) We need to start a big topic on the mfs forums to get this adressed.
