MSFS_Lossless Scaling + VPilot

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

Im using Lossless Scaling while Simming MSFS cause I still run a 3080 Card.

Sometimes when Im on Vatsim (vpilot) its no problem at all and the output fps are constantly 60 as always, perfectly smooth. But sometimes Vpilot causes the output frames to vary between 50 and 55, destroying the smoothness of the experience.

I tried to figure out what causes this, cause its really strange. If it would be a permament issue then the problem would occur constantly and not just occassionally.

Does anyone of you also use Lossless Scaling along to Vatsim?

Thank you for your help and kind regards,
Christoph

I have a 3070 and I use Lossless Scaling and Vpilot but I run Vpilot on a second monitor and never had any problem with Lossless Scaling. Did you try moving the Vpilot window around a bit to see if that makes a difference?

Hello XSever!

Thank you for your reply! I only have one monitor on my Simming PC, so the only thing I tried are different positions of the vpilot window on the one monitor I use - But it doesnt make any difference, maybe cause the vpilot window is in the background anyway.
Sometimes it works perfectly fine, sometimes not. It also doesnt depend on the traffic situation around, I also tested that. Really would like to get to the root cause of it!

Thank you and have a nice weekend!

Yours,
Christoph
