Understanding Portable version.

Hello Alex,
Thank you for your great work again!

After I downloded the LNM 3.0.18 from the Github down in assets (for the portbale mode), I run de script "Little Navmap Portable.cmd", that was present in the main folder, and it created the 3 folders that is supposed to 1-"Little Navmap Cache" 2-"Little Navmap Logs" 3-"Little Navmap Settings". Ok till here.
If it is Portable, why does in create a ABarthel folder in "Roaming folder" too?
Why do I have two little_navmap.ini files, different sizes, one in the new 3-"Little Navmap Settings" and the other in the ABarthel folder (this with a later time so is the most important)?
Understood that the MSFS2024 database, I just create, is in the ABarthel folder (little_navmap_db) so is the Navigraph updated database I update minutes ago (i got that confirmation from the manual too), so i have to move it manually, ok).
Shouldn't it suposed to be "portable" and everything inside the 3-"Little Navmap Settings" folder, inside the main folder where is the LittleNavmap.exe?
I have it on Onedrive, so when I open in another computer (it creates another ABarthel folder), and everything should be as I left on the first computer one, but it asks me again all settings.
I am a little confused sorry. How do I point all the settings to be on the Portable/LittleNavmap folder insted of the ABarthel ones, inside the Roaming folder.

Thank you for you precious time,
Antonio.

Just tried this on Linux and Windows here. No folders and files are created outside the installation folder (the folder from the Zip extraction). It is working as intended. You're sure that you don't have remains of another version in Roaming?

Hello Alex

Thank you for your reply.

In Roaming only ABrathel folder, right?

I unistalled the previous version, deleted the ABarthel, just kept the Abarthel a LNM Files zipped on a backup, so I could use the previous usefull data in future.

I starterd from scratch, it creates 3 folders with cmd, but then when you open the brand new virgin LNM for the first time, it creates a Abarthel folder on Roaming...

Actually, when you open LNM (in Onedrive) in the other computer (that never had a LNM in life) it also creates a Abarthel folder inside its Roaming folder too, and asks all settings again.

There is another old structural folder, from a previous version, elsewhere, that is ruin this?

I am going to start all over again, deleting everything, and install it with the zip extraction file "LittleNavmap-win64-3.0.18.zip"

The .cmd is visible

Brand new, sitll empty, ABarthel... which crete 2 little_navmap.ini, one here another inside the settings folder on the main LNM portable folder.

Yes (https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/latest/en/FILES.html).

open LNM (in Onedrive)

Don't do that. Keep LNM or any program out of OneDrive and install it properly on other computers. This can cause all kind of issues. And always use the Zip version to install portable (the Cmd does not exist when using the installer).

I don't see this here. I tested again on several systems.
