July 27, 200223 yr Dear Friends All,I'm looking for a stopwatch gauge to fit the non-working image space on the left of this forthcoming panel for the Red Arrows Hawk - which is a work in progress, but will be released within a week or so once loose ends are tidied up:http://www.swiremariners.com/9reds6.jpgCan any gauge gurus help? I've found one that is part of another clock, but really want to replicate this photoreal original.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
July 29, 200223 yr Author I guess Dai Griffiths, the men of the FPDA and others don't read this forum ... or don't have an answer. July 29, 200223 yr Mark:I do not mean any disrespect to you, but I must respond. I think you are way off base on this one. To imply That Dai doesn
July 30, 200223 yr He never said they don't care, he just said that they either don't read the forums (which is possible they may be non-connected at the moment, or busy) or that they don't have a suggestion. I thought it implied that since they don't have a suggestion, why bother responding. I don't respond if I don't have a suggestion or a clue.I didn't think it was spiteful in any way, and no apology should be required. That's just my 2cents. (With lots of salt attached!) ;-)I would like to think that anybody who has ever made a panel, or attempted to make a gauge, or has been around this sim community for more than a few months, would know just how invaluable fine folks like Dai, Arne, Chuck, etc. etc. are to our hobby, and wouldn't chide them for something as trivial as not being able to respond. I give the benefit of the doubt in this case.
July 30, 200223 yr Author Thanks, Eko. I certainly meant no offence whatsoever. I am continually astonished that the likes of "tee-time" seem ready to jump on anyone for the sake of it in these forums. Anyway, I seem to have found support elsewhere, but thanks again for taking the time on my behalf.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
August 5, 200223 yr Author Matt, you still about? How was your vacation?I've released the panel with conventional clock and sim timer, but will be releasing an upgrade pack in a few days (some new views, transponder in the panel by request, and a few tiny fixes) so it would be interesting to know your thoughts. If you have something in mind, please advise. Thanks.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
