FX Creation

Featured Replies

G'Day!Does anyone know of a tutorial and/or editing software that allows one to create or edit the special effects in FS2002?On the finishing stages of the Grumman Duck and I have an FX idea that I think would really look cool. Thanks!Heather

Other than the SpecialEffects_SDK, avalible at:http://zone.msn.com/flightsim/there doesn't seem to be much information avalible. It would be cool if some programing guru could come up with an editor for special effects but I imagine the problem would be in making a program that could render the effect outside of FS2k2. Untill then it seems like it is just a LOT of trial and error using a text editor.

Yep, that's about what it amounts to. Making an editor is pretty easy. Making a rendering engine that behaves the same way as FS is hard.
