Sources for Airport Data from the 1960s?

Recommended Posts

Guest Dnsmo

I'm trying to find runway configuration/navaid/frequencies data for airports in the Eastern and Central U.S. from 1960 to 1965, a period of dramatic airport change and development in the early years of jet transports. Is my best bet "Flight Guide?" I believe it began publication in 1960. The problem is finding one from that period that doesn't contain revisions in the binder that are from much later.Old sectional charts would be of some use, too. But, they provide next to no detail on the airports themselves.Any recommendations/suggestions would be appreciated.Dennis
