January 12Jan 12 After upgrading to MSFS 2024, I decided to install MSFS 2020 on a below minimum spec convertible 13-inch laptop, the Acer Spin 3. The laptop is a 2-in-1 with a touchscreen and an included stylus (pen). It works great as a tablet. It has an 1165G7 (11th Gen) cpu (2.8 to 4.7 Ghz quad core, 16 GB of RAM, a slot for an extra NVMe, and 512mb INTEGRATED Intel IRIS-XE gpu. It does NOT meet MSFS minimum requirements. To my surprise, MSFS worked. And it works well with a Flydigi Vader game controller or gamepad. Paired together, it's "Have MSFS Will Travel". Now you know what to do with MSFS 2020 after upgrading to 2024. You can also install it in your laptop. It's simply amazing! Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).
