XML Hydraulics and pneumatics

Featured Replies

Hi,Hydraulics and pneumatics are important functions and easy to fake with dummy's.Somewhere in the forum i read about:K:TOGGLE_HYDRAULIC_FAILURE What happens when you make a gauge with this function?(on/off, more?)What would be the code of that gauge?(i,m absolutely no programmer!)Is there a same function for the pneumatic system to incorporate in my 767-300 panel?I thank you all in advance for your efforts!phjvh

Hi phjvh,The K:TOGGLE_HYDRAULIC_FAILURE has just on and off function.Unfortunately you couldn't switch on or off the Hydraulic Pumps of the Flightsimulator seperately. As soon as you start a Generator or the electrical system, the Hydtraulic Pumps are automatically on. The above function simulates a defect hydraulic system. This means exactly that Flaps, Gear, Brakes and other Hydraulic based functions didn't work. You may use this function to simulate a Hydraulic switch but I'm not sure if you could also activate the Hydraulic system with the same code once you've switched it off. Give it a try.Best regardsMatthias
