Need help!Trying to make one good plane out of two.Plane A flies great, looks bad.Plane B looks great, flies bad.I need to know if there is a way to take the flight characterists from plane A and put them into Plane B and still have FS2002 Pro recognize it?Tried everything!!!Had one suggestion that worked one another plane, but, FSEdit doesn't recognize this plane when I do it that way.Same type of plane F18.Thanks, Kloyce

In fs2002, the aircraft.cfg and associated *.air file are matched pairs. If you want to use another aircraft's files, copy both files. However, this doesn't mean that you will not have to tweak the files. In most cases, the visual reference point is different for each aircraft, even if it is the same aircraft. Usually adjusting the contact points section in the aircraft.cfg file will raise the aircraft out of the ground or place it back on the ground. You may also have to adjust other areas of the aircraft.cfg file, such as the radio section.I would recommend you not open these files with FS2002 Aircraft Editor since it may adjust flight parameters that have been tweaked by the original designer.
