Hi,When flying the B747 the standby altimeter and the altimeter within the pfd differ. 4000 in the pfd and 13000 in the standby altimeter thats a quite large difference. I checked the code as far I could see it should be displayed in feet?Anyone having an explanation for this one.BrgdsEugen

I just tried the B747-400 and the altimeters matched. I tried setting an altimeter failure but it fails both the primary and secondary altimeters. This failure kinda negates the reason for having a secondary altimeter, doesn't it?

Problem solved :-)I had meters in the settings instead of feet.//Eugen
