March 3Mar 3 After 8 years of using Reality XP, I had never been able to properly execute an LPV, LNAV, RNP, or GPS approach… until today, when I finally found a configuration that works. Over time, I realized that, in the market of single-engine and twin-engine aircraft for X-Plane and MSFS, some planes fully support these approaches, while others do not handle them correctly. For example, the Milviz Cessna 310 does not fully follow the LPV approach: it captures the lateral path, and the glide path is detected, but the autopilot does not follow it due to its internal logic (KAP 140 type). Thanks to analysis and guidance from artificial intelligence, I was able to better understand how GPS, the glide path, and the autopilot work, which allowed me to properly configure Reality XP and finally succeed in flying these approaches ;)) If anyone is interested in the correct Reality XP setup, I can share photos I’ve taken. It’s even better than long texts—after all, isn’t a picture worth a thousand words? 😄
