>Once again , Bill thank you for your "easy to understand" >explanation . > - but whenever I ask >hime to explain some programming related matter to me , he >doesn't speak English to me! :) >>So the above line equates to >>If (the variable) GVar1 =1 then GVar1=0 else Gvar1=1By George! I think he's got it!>I believe that I could probably get my head around the >Reverse Polish Notation aspect of this language -- but what >about the syntax itself? Where could I learn that { 0 >(>G:Var1) } means "set the variable G:Var1 to 0" Actually, what I've learned, I've learned from a careful study of Arne Bartell's examples, as well as the many "example gauges" provided in FS2k2 and other author's.For me at least, it has been an "Adventure in Trial-and-Error," with special emphasis on the ERROR part! :)Yes, I sleep (occasionally), and manage to perform most of my duties around St. Gregory House as Superior General reasonably well... :)Bill

Just to add to the confusion ;) I was never happy with how the altimeter tooltip setup was used - or how the simulator uses the english and metrish system. Here in Norway we use the metric system in daily life, except for flying, but we still use HPa setting for the altimeter. Additionally, I like the idea of having HPa in the window, yet be able to set it to what ATC/ATIS says - which is always in Inches in MSFS.Microsoft should give more thought to this. Here is a tooltip replacement that displays _BOTH_ in HPa and Inches:Altimeter Calibration Knob (%((A:KOHLSMAN SETTING HG, inHg))%!1.2f! inHg / %((A:KOHLSMAN SETTING HG, mbar))%!1.1f! HPa)Ehh, #####? 1.2f and 1.1f?!? Emm, getting confused now, but I thought it worked... Change as you need of course :)
