January 13, 200323 yr Dear Dimitri, that's great to hear! Just one more question: Do You also plan the AN-74-T with the podded engines under the wings?Regards,Torsten
January 14, 200323 yr You mean An-74-TK-300 ? Normally yes: the only thing to do is to make new engines. Have you any information about this plane: blueprints, data ? How does the reverse work on these engines ? How many aircrafts have been produced ? Or there is only a demo plane ?
January 14, 200323 yr Dear Dimitri,I just scanned & mailed to Your chez address two pages from a book, containing a small photo (test flight), a datasheet and a 3-view.I guess I do not need to tell You of www.an74.com , do I?There You'll find the reverser answer: It's the sliding type used on most aircraft... http://www.an74.com/tech/tech.htmlHappy constructing,Torsten
January 15, 200323 yr Hi Torsten,I received your e-mail, thank you. I've already shaped out the new engines. There are some other modifications though: the passenger ladder is now integrated into the door and the door opens differently. Another thing: An-74-TK-300 got a pretty passenger cabin. To be at the level of modern standards in aircraft design, one should add an internal cabin view from the virtual cockpit but it could take a lot of time to develop it. So I will probably omit it since I have no time actually.Dimitri

January 17, 200323 yr Dimitri,I will surely love the TK-300 with or without cabin and I'm sure others will feel the same. I'd even fly here without a VC. It's a great aircraft series that You are building and they look absolutely marvellous...I guess the last screenshot shows a quick & preliminary TK-300 since it still uses the "old" engine textures... ;-)ReadUTorsten
January 17, 200323 yr Torsten: yes of course, there is no textures for TK-300 yet.But I sketched some for An-74 (arctic version of An-72). Here is a screenshot together with the actual VC (don't mind the textures)
