I have had a similar problem using ImageTool. If you load a texture with an alpha channel that contains only two colors (eg, black and white), and try to save it as DXT3, or any other format that supports 4-bit alpha, it converts it all to black. Two solutions:(1) If you're making a _l texture, and you just have white and black in the alpha channel, save as 16-bit (555-1). You'll get much better quality in the main texture than with DXT anyway; I hate DXT compression on landing light splashes.(2) Otherwise, just add a third shade of gray to the alpha channel, somewhere where it doesn't matter, and your intentions will be interpreted correctly.I don't know how well this translates to DxtBMP, but maybe it will give you some ideas. If all else fails, just use ImageTool, which I find to be easier anyway :)Matt
