January 14, 200323 yr In this trim panel, I would like to add a slot for the trim lever inside the recess. The only way I know how to do it is to split the part and apply a texture to the top of the new surface. I would rather leave the part intact and just select the appropriate polygons and apply a texture to those only. My attempts to do this have not worked, although I think it can be done. Or is there another way? (FSDS2)Thanks,John Woodward
January 15, 200323 yr Author Mike,if there are polys that are in the right location for the slot, select them and then go into the polygon properties and remove the textures from the polys, then make the part black and you should have a slotBrian
