Paint Shop Pro and alpha channels

Is there a way that I can save a paint job with an alpha channel and transport it to DXTBmp without make a separate file for my alpha channel. I'm using Captain Sims 727 paint kit that has an integrated alpha channel in the files for reflections and when I exit Paint Shop Pro I go to DXTBmp and open it up and save it as DX3 with alpha but it says "none" for alpha in the description.

This relates to your other question as well...Make sure you save the finished file as a .psd file in PSP. Then, using ImageTool, open the .psd file. If it's a _t file, I prefer to convert it to DXT3; if it's _l, I like 16-bit (555-1). Once converted, save it as a .bmp in your texture folder, and you're all set.Matt
