I Have a white, Beech King Air 350 that I downloaded and when I went to paint it in FS2002 Edit it came up as read only! Am i being stupid? When I select the file and high light its properties, I try to change it from read only, it will not play ball. Is it me or does FS2002 edit just not cut the mustard on the odd occasion.

If all you want to do is repaint the aircraft, why not use a good paint program, such as, Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, on the blank (white) textures vice trying through Microsoft Aircraft Editor? If the file is a total file with an aircraft.cfg file, *.air, *.mdl, etc., then open the aircraft.cfg file and add to the General Section:&l;General&r;editable=1 //0 - not editable 1 - editable
