Making aluminium aircraft textures

Hello friendly simmersA while back before I had to format, someone gave me a link to a program "Alpha" needed to make aluminium textures.Could someone please repeat the link for me.Also as I recall,when I started to read it, I found it not very user friendly for a very limited puter litterate as myself. Is there a simpler way like in PSP?Second point: I have done a few repaints now, if interested, (AvSim extended search author "Leon Louis" in "FS2002 aircraft repaint category") I have attached a pict of my last one.I have noticed some use 32 bit textures, but if I try, I get grey textures. Does someone up there not like me, or???I noticed when I bring down such a 32 bit texture in my psp , modify it, and save it back as 32 bit it does not work, but, it will if I make it 256 colors?Thanks for your help guys.Leon Louis flatspin@videotron.ca

Go over to http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ and look in the tutorials section. there is a good one on Alpha channels for reflections. You will also need Martin Wrights DXTBmp program available at http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/index.htmBrian
