July 26Jul 26 Near the Prime MeridianFor Sunday, July 26, 2026Today we have a simple substitute for Gunter’s normal Sunday flights. We shall do a “scramble” in the South of England. The first leg begins at London City [EGLC], flies over the Prime Meridian at Greenwich Observatory, and proceeds down to Biggin Hill [EFKB]. The next, and subsequent legs, will be chosen by the participating pilots on a rotating basis. This week we shall fly small GA aircraft low-and-slow to enjoy a number of small airfields in the beautiful English countryside. This is a leisurely flight with the aim to fly short distances and hop from one airfield to the next. An excellent choice of aircraft would be the Piper Dakota, a freeware by Carenado made available as freeware by Microsoft in the early days of MSFS 2024. In any case, please fly what you like.Time and WeatherFor takeoff on Sunday, set the simulator at 15:00pm local for July 26, 2026. We typically prefer real weather.
