Hi, I've just downloaded a nice F104G, but the brakes are very poor. Could anyone tell me how to increase the braking power. I've read one post on the subject, but using FSEDIT, I can't see what to alter. If anyone is kind enough to reply, simple terms please, 'cos I'm sure no expert.Regards, Russell.

You can modify braking strength in the .air file, record 1101, the 13th parameter down. Right clicking the line item gives you more info on setting the value. YOu can edit the .air file with AirEd which you can get here:http://members.dsl-only.net/~eagle/As an aside, FS2002 decreases braking effectiveness on wet runways, or with flaps fully deployed (which provides lift, less weight on the tires). Spoilers and less flaps make braking more effective.Milton

Thanks Milton, much appreciated. It now stops in a reasonable distance.Regards,Russell.
