Adding central fuel tank

Featured Replies

I'm flying Bill Lyons' Cessna Bobcat, a wonderful aircraft, but a little short in range. I'd like to add a central fuel tank of 55 gallons. I know it is easy to increase fuel capacities, but how would one go about adding a whole new tank? And any suggestions for a gauge which would be in that range? Thanks in advance ;)-- SMP

SMP,To add a central tank, add the following to the Fuel section of the aircraft.cfg:Center1=0.000, 0.000, 0.000, 55.000, 0.000The values are, from left to right, longitudinal offset (ft), lateral offset (ft), vertical offset (ft), total capacity (gals), unusable (gals). For gauges, you might want to check out some of the default FS aircraft but I'm not sure which ones have center tanks.Peter http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/PeterR.gifBFU Forums ModeratorRenegade/Seawolf Design Group (RSDG)

http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/logo75t.gifBush Flying Unlimited"At home in the wild"Looking for adventure?
