I tried %((A:NAV2 NAME,string))%!s!%and it worked first try. NAV2 has to receive something, though. E.g. 117.45 at EDDW gave the expected string 'BREMEN'.Arne Bartels

Interestingly you get the name a good deal before you get a signal, e.g. 'BREMEN' is already displayed at "your home" (EHGG), even if you get a signal of BMN not before "my home" (30nm before EDDW).Arne Bartels

Arne,I hoped for something like that.Saw it in the 747 MFD (A:NAV2 ident, string), but this one seems to work only when becoming alive (Sound, DME), despite the fact, that it is visible much earlier.Maybe (..Name, ident) will profe more useful.PS Is something known about (>K:Letterbox)?Jan"Procul Negotiis"
