June 1, 200323 yr Well, here is a sample shot of the panel to be used in the initial release of the Legacy. Not the slickest, but it should work OK.Now I need to work on the secondary windows, then the 3D version for the VC. As mentioned before, hopefully there will be an upgrade available later.RegardsBob C.
June 1, 200323 yr Lookin good Bob, one thing though, use the "View_DIR=" command (not sure of the proper syntax since my main sim computer is DOA untill I get a new motherboard) to adjuat the view down a bit. this helps considerably with viewing the runway on approach/landing.Brian
June 1, 200323 yr Hey Brian,Already done. That was an early shot, and it changes hour by hour.Sorry to hear about your computer. Hope you get her back up and running soon!!Best RegardsBob C.
June 2, 200323 yr Looks good Bob! Keep up the great work! If you need any reference photos of the panel, dont be afraid to ask.... I would gladly send them to you.Kobie :-wave
June 3, 200323 yr Thanks Kobie,The problem I have is finding usable guages that I can include in the panel, keeping in mind the ultimate project package size, and distribution rights.I just found a Garmin radio stack by Gerd R. Nehr which are rather interesting. I'm trying that now. Pic's below. Basic GPS, transponder, and radio function. Looks a little more current. With the expanded window it works fairley well. In combination with the GPSMAP 195 from Cayote makes a good combo.I wish I could find a freeware EFIS system, but the ones I have seen are pretty basic. I'm waiting and looking forward to the one Fabio is building. Any heads up would be appreciated.Cheers!!Bob C.
June 3, 200323 yr Bob,Good to see your making progress on your panel! It's looking great! If you need anything, give a hollar, and I will see what I can do.As for Fabio, he is up to his elbows in gauge design, and panel design. I know that he just moved back home. I am sure he is getting settled in.Keep up the great work Bob!Kobie :-wave
