hican someone give me an advise how i can half the fuel consumption of an aircraft in the aircraft.cfgcurrently i have a double consumption that the fuel calculator says. an A340-300 flying from LSZH - SBGL FL380 ZFW 320'000 lbs should use aprox. 150'000 lbs of fuel, well curently it uses up 230'000 lbs.too much.any idea?cheers

Hello,what does fuel_flow_scalar say. Multiply it by 0.5 and put back the new value and the fuel flow will be halved.In FS SFC (=PPH/net thrust) is constant, but in RL it varies with throttle, temperature and Mach. There is an internal variable called CFF which varies more like RL and if you can make a guage .... then you can tell us all how you did it.Ian

Edit the .cfg file withfuel_flow_scalar = 0.4save it and reload your a/c.Ian

perfect Ianit worked. finally my PSS A340 reaches Los Angeles and Rio de Janeiro without taking a KC-10 with me :D0.55 is the best factor that matches fuel planner of PSScheers
