FS9 F-14 airfiles

Recommended Posts

I've tried a number of F-14 airfiles in FS9. In each case with full "flaps" (read wingsweep), there seems to be a breakpoint in the airspeed where the acft acts like it suddenly uses thrust vectoring. At about 180'ish kts and higher, the only way to descend or even maintain level flight is to point the nose down about 20-30 degrees. This is not conducive to successful carrier traps using Flight Deck III here... a little too much power and I'm floating well above the glide slope with no hope of descent or recovering the approach to the third wire. Not being an aeronautical engineer (but I can recognize an airplane 2 out of 3 times!), and not "in the know" of the ways of the airfile beyond the obvious, what could/should I be looking at to fix this behaviour?
