Determining FS version from gauge code

Does anyone knows if the Flight Simulation version can be determined in a c gauge in any other way than using FSUIPC ?Thanks,Michael Frantzeskakis

HMODULE hModule = GetModuleHandle(NULL);then call GetModuleFileName functionif returned string ends with fs9.exe then this is fs 2004 :)Of course you can also extract version info from exe
