Let's imagine that your VOR1 is tuned on a localizer (for example, IORD 109.75 at O'Hare), and you want to engage the autopilot to follow the localizer.Does it make any difference if you use KEY_AP_LOC_HOLD_ON or KEY_AP_NAV1_HOLD_ON?As far as my tests have gone, there is no difference if the VOR1 is a localizer. In FS there's no difference.If you turn te NAV-A/P mode on, you follow the LOC.If you turn the APPR-A/P mode on, the aircraft will follow the LOC and the GS.Don't ask me if it's the same in real life.Regards,Harry
