Using 3ds max for FS

Recommended Posts

Guest che

Hi,I would like to use 3ds max 6 in order to create aircraft/scenery objects for FS2004.How do I do this?(I have the FS2002Pro included gmax plugin if that's what it needs)Another question:How(if it's possible) can I import into 3ds max my FSDS2 models I have made? I tried using the CVA convertor v1.0 and it converted my fsc file to dxf, but when I tried to import the dxf in 3ds max it claimed the file is corrupt or dosen't contain any data(although it does). Any Ideas?

Hi che, I'm using 3DS Max to crate aircraft for fs9. All i needed to do was to download Panda Directx Exporter(4.3.0.46) from here http://www.pandasoft.demon.co.uk/directxmax4.htm and place it in the 3DSMax plugin folder. The following site will help you set up the Panda Directx Exporter.http://www.oregon-coast.net/FS2002/3DSM-PandaX-FS.htmelche :-beerchug
