Compiling gauges in VS.NET

Featured Replies

Hi all! This is my first post here.I've looked over the old posts and can't find anything to help.My problem is that I'm new to gauge programming and I'm trying to use the Panel SDK examples as a starting point to learing gauge programming. Programming itself isn't a problem, I've been programming with C++ for years. The problem is, when I tried to use VS.NET to compile the sample gauges, I couldn't get it to work. What particular hoops do I need to jump through to get this working? Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions! :-DRattlehead

Thanks! I'll check that out and see what I can make of it!Rattlehead

I use VS2003 to compile gauges in C++, no problem. Just make sure you set the language to C/C++, and not to managed code. Of course, you can always use managed code if you really want to. Pete Dawson has in the FSUIPC SDK some contributions for .NET if you're interested.

I'm presuming that you've the Microsoft Framework installed and up to Date?John http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewer
