Is there any way to create external sounds? Specifically, I would like to create a horn that can be heard "outside" the vehicle (e.g. in spot plane view) when I push a key. MS does something like this when they create the sounds of thunder, but that is not triggered by a key press.Thanks,Phil

Phil,Sounds played using Bluesky's gaugesound.dll are independent of the FS sound system and can be heard in any view. Send me an e-mail or PM and I can put something together for you.Doug Dawson

Hmm... Shareware. The version of EasyGauge I bought from Bluesky is a freeware only thing. You would have to come to some kind of arrangement with Bluesky Development to use their module in a commercial package. I have no idea what it would cost...Doug

DougMy misunderstanding. It looks like gaugesound.dll is freely available, so all one has to do is write the code (which can be part of a freeware package) and tell the user to download the gaugesound.dll separately.Phil
