I have some ideas to take the cockpit rendering to a new level, but for that I need the sun and eye positions. Is there a way to get those parameters into a gauge file? I assume it could be done with FSUIPC but is there a simpler way?Cheers, Christian

I don't think you can read the eyepoint position (but I know you can reset it to the aircraft's default). I don't think you can read the sun position anywhere (but you can get the acft's position and time of day and could use a bunch of math to determine your shadows).
