October 21, 200421 yr Is there a way to alias a subpanel from another aircraft.I want to use the collective from the bell 206, but would like to avoid copying the bmps to the other aircraft folder.
October 22, 200421 yr Well, you can't alias the sub-panel, per se. You can however use the bitmaps in the Bell panel, without moving or copying them.Window3 of the Bell's panel looks like this:file=Collective_640.bmpFILE_1024=Collective_1024.bmpsize_mm=86window_size=0.1344position=8visible=0ident=COLLECTIVE_PANELgauge00=Bell_206B!Landing Lights, 22, 17gauge01=Bell_206B!Governor, 45, 12gauge02=Bell_206B!Starter, 29, 40gauge03=Bell_206B!Throttle, 20, 105Copy this stuff to the panel you wish to add the collective to. Then change the first two lines:file=....Bell206bpanelCollective_640.bmpFILE_1024=....Bell206bpanelCollective_1024.bmpYou're now using the bitmaps located in the Bell's panel folder.Doug Dawson
