INCIDENCE BETA variable

Recommended Posts

An FS2004 variable is INCIDENCE BETA. Anyone know what it means? I have found a beta gauge on the internet and the face is marked L and R. Is this something to do with rate of turn, I wonder.Thanks,Nick.

Angel of attack in left-right direction (INCIDENCE ALPHA is the commonly known AoA). If INCIDENCE BETA is not 0, your nose veers from course, can be used for turn coordination, instead of the slip indicator.Arne Bartels
