Rotating Alpha Bitmaps.

Anyone know if you can rotate a bitmap with an alpha channel?The alpha produces a shadow on a cylinder (the ladder) type standby attitude indicator gauge and I want the shadow to rotate when the aircraft banks, that is, in sync with the cylinder. Using the code, (A:Attitude indicator bank degrees,radians)If I remove the rotate code the shadow shows OK. Put the rotate code back, and the shadow dissapears. I think I might have answered my own question with these tests, but can anyone shed some light on this.Cheers,Nick.
