Do the top plane makers, PSS, PMDG and so one, use gMax or FSDS. Everywhere I read, gMax takes a lot to get used to..

Either 3dSMax or GMax are used by commercial developers.

unless, as i just found out, you are of the arianestudios stable. In which case you use your own in house modeller.

Wasn't the Eaglesoft Premier done in FSDS 2? Also, Carenado uses FSDS 2, although their web page suggests that they have "GMAX" features, at least the Bonanzas are as FSDS 2 as they come.-John

yes.. some of eaglesoft's models are made in FSDS2 :)
