XML Reading data from txt or ini file?

Is it possible to have an XML guage read data from amother source than A:Vars?Txt or ini file or whatever list is available.I would like to be able to read RWY course, ILS frequency etc. and use that in K:EventsSomething like that is done by RwyInfo.gau but that is a C++ gauge I think.Your help is very much appriciated.Roelof

Hi Roelof,No, at least not from any arbitrary text file or FS database.But Doug Dawson created an "interface" gauge that lets you read upto 100 user-defined numeric values from an .ini (text-)file into user-defined L:Vars. And write back the value of the L:Vars to the .ini file upon exit of FS.I don't think he published this freeware gauge, but you can find it in our Carrier Package ( RCBco-20.zip ) as file COP_Config.gau.Cheers, Rob
