April 18, 200620 yr I use a background for my gauge with color 8-8-8.To save space I do have other gauges (not mine) at the same spot. With a togle icon I pop up my gauge. There is a problem putting it over a certain other gauge. In most case it covers what's under it but in this case I see my gauges mixed up with the other like it was transparant.Any idea what causes this?Roelof

April 19, 200620 yr Hi,In the panel.cfg below windowxxetc.gaugexx=gaugeyy=draw_order00=gaugeaa,gaugebbetc.Jan"Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..." Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
April 20, 200620 yr >windowxx>>etc.>>gaugexx=>gaugeyy=>>draw_order00=gaugeaa,gaugebb>etc.>>Jan>>"Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."Hi Jan,I see. This is a statement that you can add!!! It seems to be rarely used given the fact the I found it in only to panels.b747_400 and beech_baron_58. However, my problem is caused between 2 windows. See section below. Window 05 stays on top of window 06 whenwindow o6 is toggled! How would you apply the drawing_order= here?Funny enough I solved the problem by saving the position when window 05 is visable and not window 06! Then the problem is gone. Gods ways and computers. The working is very hard to understand!:( //--------------------------------------------------------[Window05]Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=343,197position=8visible=0ident=10060nomenu=1gauge00=PF10070_Takeoff!Vspeed, 5,4,100,60gauge01=PF10070_GPWS!GPWS3_2, 5,68,100,43gauge02=PF10070_Groundhandling!PushbackDisplay, 5,115,74,61gauge03=PF10070_Groundhandling!TaxispeedToeBrakes, 83,115,64,61gauge04=PF10070_Groundhandling!BrakePressure, 151,115,44,61gauge05=PF10070_Groundhandling!ParkingBrakeSwitch, 199,115,44,30gauge06=PF10070_Groundhandling!AutoTaxiAfterLanding, 199,146,44,30gauge07=PF10070_Groundhandling!PushbackStates, 0,0,20,20gauge08=PF10070_Groundhandling!BrakeSound, 0,0,20,20gauge09=FSUIPC_DUMPv2004transgr!Fuel_Dump, 109,4,92,110gauge10=rkdesigned!Fuel, 218,0,9,112//--------------------------------------------------------[Window06]Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=248,180position=7visible=0ident=10008window_size= 0.264, 0.279window_pos= 0.654, 0.717gauge00=rkdesigned!Multi Purpose, 0,0,248,180Roelof
April 20, 200620 yr This is a well known problem with no fix that I know of. The panel that is first in the window list to be openened will always sit behind subsequent windows. It becomes important to have windows toggled in the correct sequence.
