does anyone know how to control (open and place) the small spot windows that are called up using the braket key ?might be fun to use as a military display of some kind if it can be harnessed using code. if i knew the window name or number i could harness it with dougs window status...perhapswonder if these are the unexplained 'psuedo windows' in the panel sdk, bill and i were wondering about a while back ????

A little out of my league here, but I thought it might be cool to use these windows on a panel somehow to simulate the outside view TV screens pilots use when maneuvering large jets into the gate areas. Maybe it's been done, probably has.Check out the default Spirit of St. Louis. It does something like this for the periscope view. Might give you an idea. It's always been one of those back burner projects for me (way back).Jim

well the window is easy, but....i can not figure out how they masked it. i looked at the panel config and it appears it is not on an underlying window, but i can not seem to mask it or to overlay it...which is odd, because i have used the fs9gps:map custom draw and was able to mask it with out problems. and it is masked in the gauge, or rather they have an overlay section but i can not make it work.ideas ?
