September 2, 200619 yr I read somewhere else that by using a hex editor and replacing some values in specific strings of hex code will remove the virtual cockpit on any model. I tried it and it worked. My question is: Is there a line of hex code that can be manipulated to enable the wings and engines to be seen from the inside of the aircraft in VC view? If anyone knows please reply, thanks.Esteban Aldarondo-
September 2, 200619 yr Not without disassembling and manual editing asm/scm source and reassembling, but this is too hard way...:(
September 2, 200619 yr No.See, the VC is a model of the aircraft which is separate, and not necessarily a duplicate of the whole model. When you are "in" the VC, you are sitting in that model, and you can only see what has been modeled. Many models do not contain anything not nomrally seen from inside the cockpit. If you took an add-on camera and tried to position it outside to look at the model, you would even see that all that existed of the B206 was just that part forward of the bulkhead, for example. So, wings may not be present, in which case, there is nothign there to see.
