March 23, 200719 yr I am sorry to post this here, but I found no way to paste images in the Feelthere Forum, and I believe some of their developers may poll this forum from time to time...I bought the Wilco Airbus, and am enjoying it quite a lot. It has it's problems, most solved by the recently released patch, but there is a strange problem with managed descents (after TOD). The aircraft sometimes pitches down hugely, achieves vertical speeds bellow -6000FPM, etc...Using AFSD to find out what their 1506 tables are doing for it (BTW: you could easily tweak the 1506 table for lower MACH entries in order to get proper iddle thrust while taxiing without having to set such high N1 values because the typical iddle in an airbus is around 18%...) Looking at both of the pictures attached to this message you can verify a few problems...1) N1 reading while cruising is way too low;2) During managed descent, when those huge negative FPM values are reached and engine thrust is already at fligh iddle, I find high thrust values using AFSD to display it. I believe that at such settings we could possibly see even negative thrusts (?) AH! I noticed the FMA is not displaying the proper readings as well - another bug?
March 23, 200719 yr Author What is this strange panel black border we see on the screenshots?I guess you moved the panel down... You should correct this, otherwise people will believe this is a bug ;-)Eric My Web Site
March 23, 200719 yr Ok,a few more shots, without the black panel ;-)Climb, Level and after TOD, under Mngd Descent, this turn around without reaching any abnormal VS ( this turn around everything looked OK, but there's still too much thrust at flight iddel IMHO)...Also a pic. I called "weird.jpg". Checking the various displays will show you why...
March 23, 200719 yr Author What a beautiful panel...I just regret the JPG compression, which ruins the quality of the graphics. The panel is even nicer is FS. My Web Site
