gmax - library objects - lightmaps

Featured Replies

Hi Gang, still adding gmax skills to my repetoire. I'm able to create gmax models, compile them as library objects, and place them in scenery using standard scasm calling macros. I'm also able to add nite lights to the models if I compile them as standalone bgl files (the attachment was compiled as a standalone bglc file). What I haven't been able to do is to convert the standalone to a library object, call that object using scasm, and still see the night lights. Anyone able to do that? If so, is it as simple as it seems it should be? If so, perhaps I got confused and invoked the wrong file in my library or something dumb like that.Bob Bernstein

Hi Bob,I just made a little test cube with night textures and it works fine from a library here. I tested both the ligthmap and the nightmap options, both work OK.ArnoMember NL2000 Teamhttp://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen
