Design Question

Featured Replies

I recently got Abacus's A&SD V2.1 and was wondering if there is any way to change the original building placements at airports. Everything seems to be locked up from editing when i load the .BGL file.

You can not edit an existing BGL with any of the scenery design programs. The idea is that you make you own new BGL with the things you want to change and then you exclude the old scenery, so that it is not visible anymore.Arno

If I understand you correctly, you are using the open bgl command, and you see the default showing in ASD, but all the edit boxes are greyed out. If this is your problem, the trick is to click "import"..which is likely a right mouse click menu. Now you can edit in "diagram" mode. When you compile your new airport, you will see both of them unless you exclude the original. You can do this with an exclude area in ASD. Just make sure when you draw the orange box, that you right click on it and select the exclude items. For reasons only known to the ancient ones, ASD default for exclude areas is NOT to exclude anything! LOL.Bob Bernstein
